Privacy Policy

EdgeLine AI, LLC ("EdgeLine AI," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Service you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect.

• Account information: email address, password hash, display name, avatar, and (if you sign in with X/Twitter) your X handle and public profile fields.
• Preferences: your display timezone, preferred unit size, favorite sports, and SMS opt-in status.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We retain only the subscription status and billing metadata Stripe returns to us.
• SMS (optional): if you opt in, your phone number is stored and sent to Twilio to deliver daily pick messages.
• Usage data: log data automatically generated when you interact with the Service (IP address, user agent, timestamps, pages viewed, picks clicked).
• Cookies: first-party session cookies used for authentication, and a small number of functional cookies used to remember display preferences.

2. How We Use Information.

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Authenticate you and protect against fraud and abuse.
• Personalize your experience — including timezone rendering, unit-size P&L, and which picks appear on your board.
• Process subscription payments and send billing notifications via Stripe.
• Send you daily pick SMS messages if you have opted in (via Twilio).
• Analyze usage to improve the Service and the model.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that make the product work:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and hosting of application data.
• Netlify — frontend hosting and scheduled functions.
• Stripe — subscription payment processing.
• Twilio — SMS delivery (only if you opt in).
• Data providers that power the picks engine (The Odds API, BallDontLie, MySportsFeeds) — we send them no personal information, only aggregate requests about games and players.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of EdgeLine AI, our users, or others.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS data are never shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. If you opt into SMS, your phone number is shared only with our SMS infrastructure provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you consented to receive. We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number to any third party for their independent marketing purposes, and we do not permit any third party to do so on our behalf. SMS opt-in data (consent records, phone numbers, opt-in status) is retained only for compliance and account management; it is not provided to affiliates, advertisers, or any third party.

4. Data Retention.

We retain account and subscription data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@edgelineai.com.

5. Your Choices.

• Access, correct, delete: you can view and edit most of your profile data from the Settings page, or email us to request deletion.
• SMS: reply STOP to any message, or disable SMS in your Settings, to opt out.
• Marketing emails: unsubscribe link in every email. Transactional emails (billing, security) cannot be opted out of while you have an active account.

6. Children.

The Service is intended for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

7. Security.

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, hashed passwords, row-level security on the database — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach that materially affects you, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

8. International Users.

EdgeLine AI is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have data-protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

9. Changes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service. Your continued use after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes acceptance.
