How We Measure Edge

Every pick on EdgeLine — NHL props, game lines, and daily parlays — gets the same canonical Edge score: our model's probability minus the book's no-vig implied probability, in percentage points. Same formula across every market, so a 5pp edge on an NBA points prop means the same thing as a 5pp edge on a moneyline or a parlay. 5–10pp is solid, 10–20pp is strong, 20pp+ is elite territory.
